It's been very quiet in here lately. I can almosy hear the spiders weaving their webs.
There was a great article in the Fairfax papers yesterday (The Age and SMH) about thr sharing economy. I'd paste the link, but the new mobile interface doesnt allow it!?? Do a search for "is car sharing the way of the future?". There's also been numerous articles touting the merits and growth of the sharing economy. Do your homework and you'll see what I mean.
With QNA's new direction in collaborative consumption, I see the opportunity for them to be a big player as being huge. They won't strike gold on long term car sharing or renting tools, but the combination of platforms they're putting together, plus the potential addition of more markets (boats, houses, office space, etc) will make them THE go to company in Australia for collaborative consumption. It's definitely the future, and they are poised to own it. Just look at GoGet, which started from nothing and then sold a large stake earlier this year to Archer Capital at a valuation of $75mm!! And thars JUST car sharing.
I'm personally amazed at the low share price. If this were a Silicon Valley company, it would be priced on incredible potential, not current earnings.
Personally, I'm looking forward to the future of QNA.
