Solid news from the company this morning. Looking forward to binding off takes being executed.
Interesting to see the price action, my guess is that we are seeing an element of short term profit taking from those who picked up a position or averaged down in the mid teens or de-risking leading in to the ship test results? I have no issues with profit taking and share prices filling in and would like to see a close above $0.21 to keep the technical break out in tact, as opposed to seeing a test of moving average support back at $0.185. I genuinely don't believe the share price from the news that was delivered warrants a test of the 18.5c region, unless there were more motivated sellers looking to exit the register.
There is no doubt a valuation disparity between LNG @ $370mil vs GEV at $70mil exists and Iam of the opinion (as to are probably most shareholders) that once we see GEV's MMscf 200 ship pass the quality tests and receive US approval (next 4 - 6 weeks), then one can reasonable expect a re-rate to the current share price and subsequent increase in valuation for the business as this is essentially a huge de-risking event for the business.
