I've never held a stock right through to a takeover. I've always sold for a little bit less than the offer when it jumped just so I cold get my cash up front and locked in just in case the offer was withdrawn. I did this with Ammtec, OzMinerals, Lihir Gold, and others. But I'm not doing it now.
Given that the stock is trading nearly at the offer price and (as far as I know) no schedule has been laid out for the offer so we have no idea when we might get the cash, I suspect plenty of you are thinking along the same lines.
