No right or wrong, just whatever strategy works for the individual.

Personally, I'm not one to buy other people's cheap shares, so getting in at or near ground floor is a must. Buying low EV resource shells over the last 12 months has been a pretty cookie-cutter template, with not too many misses:

-> Wait for company to raise cash
-> Get set in low EV mining shell (ideally, <$5M, with a bit of cash) at around the same price as directors/brokers
-> Wait
-> Price rallies in expectation or on project acq
-> Choose whether to hold or take profits
-> Occasionally there's a dud acq, like OVR but if you're in early, worst case is a BE

IMO price has often run too hard after acquisition of the good projects and the R/R is against you.
