This will probably sound really weird but MTL showed amazing strength today - yes we ended up slightly down but these are the key points I found most pleasing:
1. VWAP 32.59
2. All Ords off over 1% and compounded by the usual Friday selling
3. New high of 34c hit
4. 800k were bought on Thursday @28c - profit taking is to be expected and these were absorbed at much higher prices - free float is shrinking by the day
5. Significant volume of over 2m+
In order for MTL to go up, a small pullback such as occurred today is necessary - this consolidation is actually healthy and will ensure future price appreciation is sustainable - would really appreciate any TA on the future direction of the stock if anyone is able?
