Actually I'd sooner be picking horses. I used to breed them. My grandfather ran a series of change stations for Cobb and Co. My grandson is a farrier. I love horses but one of my last ones got me a ride in the Westpac rescue helicopter. I had to give them up Horses are probably in our blood.
I had an uncle that was a big time bookie. He only ever gave me one tip "don't bet, it's a mugs game"
So yes I'd sooner be picking horses but at the yearling sales not at the race course. That's why I probably pick stocks on their pedigree and performance and not what chartists say are the odds.
