    Had a nice afternoon.

Over the sandhills to the crystal clear waters of the Indian ocean, soft golden sands, yachts sailing off Rottnest, cool water, picture postcard beautiful beach, beach girls sunbaking with their straps untied, blue skies - just awesome, a great West Aussie afternoon. And I had the old surf guitar music going in the car.

Then back to the patio for some Gage Roads long necked premium beer, and I gotta say, it is very good beer, and goes down a bit too easily. Picked it up from Woolies. I was surprised at the number of boutique beers, there is a lot of competition, craft beers seems to be the big thing.

I reckon Gage will have some pretty strong sales numbers this quarter, and I've contributed. Geez, I'm getting a real taste for the stuff now. I like the long necked bottles, not sure about this "batch brewed" moniker though, I mean, isn't all beer brewed in batches, it's no special technique really, unless you get off on saying "I'm drinking batch 63248 or something".

I'm tipping that results from the expanded production will kick in around February and we will start to see some very good figures (like some of those on the beach today, oh man, I wish I was 30 years younger, the havoc I could wreak, but now it's just dreams).

More of the same tomorrow, a beautiful 31 degrees, crystal cool azure waters, and beer on the patio. Well, it's a life I suppose, and somebody's got to live it.

    Cheers,
    Gw
