It's good that the conversation has moved on to the reasons why TAS's share price is too low considering its holding in EDE. What have we got so far:
1. Fears of mining exploration expenses.
2. Added cost of TAS management.
3. Complex tax implications in the event of a takeover.
4. Others???
Of those, I think the mining exploration fear is the relevant worry. Not sure what can be done about it. Does management want to keep the mining option open? Maybe they think it's actually an asset if the mining sector improves?
