Some basic numbers on what Mox would face to develop:
5mx5m decline cost about $7000 per metre
Need two declines for haulage and ventilation
Depth to orebody 900m vertical
Decline gradient 1:10 (ie 1m vertical for 10m horizontal)
Cost = 2x$7000x900x10 = $126 million
Would take 18 months to two years or more to complete - interest accruing, no revenue.
Also need process plant - say $300-400 million.

Production cost would also be very high due to massive haulage cost.

In my view, they would need higher grade than Olympic Dam. A very tall order, I can't see it happening.
