No Japan for sure is the largest importer of Australian Coal for steel making. What do you think all the toyotas are made from. I remember from old reports from MCC and that they only started selling to China during the GFC one the price collaspesed and China stopped a lot of mining its own vast coal reserves due to poor safety.
