I've just realised I have been looking at the same report everybody looks at:

So I admit to being confused - I actually picked this up via a google search and didn't read it properly. Just in case somebody wants what I was looking at, the link was http://www.asx.com.au/data/securities_lending_gross_settlement_value.pdf

On the ASX website http://www.asx.com.au/professionals/securities_lending/index.htm they say : Outstanding loan position reporting will be made available from 17 December 2009

So unfortunately we will not know what any securities outstanding lending is until about Dec 17th. I'll be keen to know this stuff. I'm sure the institutions collate this stuff and pass it around.
