I have never been one for conspiracy theories ...until I started to trade on the stock-market. The deceit, manipulation of announcements and pump and dumps really make one's head spin. That's before useless speeding tickets and their pathetic company excuses.
My suspicions are that it is the large brokers & financial institutions who engage in most of the skull-duggery with anonymity, rather than the company management themselves. -but who knows the truth of it all. A wink is a good as a nod...
Even if IVA was going to make a decent bid, it would probably still suit them to keep some downward pressure on the SP, so the bid look that bit more attractive.
Once the flood gates open they couldn't stop a considerable re-rating, but could be trying to take advantage of any perceive market uncertainty.
With 62c post deal cash backing, I have no idea why there should be any perceived market uncertainty -perhaps they just want to make it look like there is.
Surely some consolidation this week, could we be actually trade for less than cash post-sale? I cant see why this would happen on a level playing field.
