I hate to sound like a petulant retail short-termer. I understand the complexity of what they’re doing out there and know market sentiment sucks atm.
But it’s not enough for mgmt to simply “let the results speak for themselves”. The IR folks need to do a better job of communicating a narrative that keeps the market engaged. And they need to orchestrate newsflow to support this
It’s obviously no easy task, but it’s not an unreasonable expectation. They are paid to do this. They owe it to shareholders to ensure the value of our investment in the company is reasonably well reflected in the shareprice.
If the mgmt are determined to scratch around in the dirt to the exclusion of all else, then ffs they should hire more capable IR staff to manage newsflow and create the spin the company needs.
