If by ‘watching grass grow’ Samuelson is referring to slow & steady capital growth - that’d be fine with me
It’s the spectacular (and relentless) destruction of value that actually bothers me. Its due in part to crappy macro sentiment, but sub-par IR / amateurish mismanagement of newsflow is making these problems far worse than they need to be
