I am a bit like Sharks and don't read too many trading books these days from failed traders.
There is one exception however as I believe in the work from Dr Van Tharp.
Particularly his books " Trade your way to financial freedom " and " Trading beyond the Matrix ".
The reason I like really his work is due to his ideas on position sizing strategy's which is reflected in some of my multiple entry / multiple exit strategy's I use every day.
He has a position sizing game where he invites traders to experiment with trading via a software program. It is designed for stock trading but trading is the same for all markets.
(1) the importance of R-multiples; (2) the difference between expectancy and probability; (3) letting profits run without letting them escape; and (4) using position sizing strategies to make sure you have a low-risk trade.
The Position Sizing Game
is designed to drive these principles home by giving you the experience of making (or losing) money in a game environment where losing is safer.
