OK, I'm out. At a sizeable loss, but I needed it to offset other capital gains. No point donating more to the ATO "charitable foundation" than one has to.
As for CPK, it's looking a bit grim. If the FMF falls to Balmain/trilogy, then a large chunk of CPK's debt could be sought for repayment. And having recently been unable to meet a milestone payment date from the Martha Cove project, CPK could struggle to find cash at the moment.
Now they might: 1. Get CBA to refinance the FMF debt. 2. Sell lots and lots of blocks at Martha Cove really fast 3. Get Fortress to refinance the FMF debt 4. Sell Paradise Resorts for way above market value 5. Find $100mil in a shoebox behind the office fridge
But somehow; I doubt it.
