There is a very real in human science place to your consideration...multiple study's have shown that when any person understands they are facing an uphill battle forced in counterfeit to be stacked against them..for example unrealistic house prices people cease to strive like they would have freely otherwise toward that goal...because it's a natural cognitive behaviour to recognise a dead horse...why struggle for any ideal at the top of ones own freely defined list of objectives (freely derived at objectives promotes well being like nothing else in life can) if there is a politically inspired designer overhang half way up so large it's insurmountable the majority people dont bother to create much at all in comparison to what they would have otherwise
the prospective climber looks and says no thanks it's a waste of my time i will go watch some daytime tv instead or suck down a joint...modern examples of this as a direct result of overt immigration policy is home ownership and job/career opportunity's.
In parallel it is exactly the same syndrome that exists within all collectivist societal derivatives are forced down (communism, socialism, postmodernist ideology's etc) and can be emulated easily as multiple study's have shown by giving people free money just for breathing, overrides self determination...done to death in human science and even animals study's show the same result........at the feet of the average citizen both scenarios are just as psychological sick and prayerful.
Unless something fantastical happens....the first step back to a psychologically healthy (as much as humans can be in a country without free speech and expression to fuel growth) is to restrict immigration......GDP in the interim will suffer because overall the pre and post spend on crime, drug problems..all social and domestic abuse parameters will reduce necessitating less GDP fuelling effort here..but I am good with that.
