They will definitely be a lot cheaper but like with conventional printing the money will be made in the refills (graphene etc). One potentially good thing about 3d group is they have the biggest printer in the work and are aren't really targeting the consumer end of the market. For instance they have a plan to target schools and a partnership with a miner. You never know who will win or lose but I think they have a credible plan and are worth a small punt
