Little Dove, in terms of liquid, is very much worth the extra $$ with its trophy winning creds.
I'm not sure GR has the overall brand equity to trade shoppers up from avg ctn prices of $50 to $80 (60% jump) over the medium/long term - short term they should see the pick up of quite a few single bottles and 4pks as the beer nerds trial it. but beer nerds are very disloyal - massive repertoires as they constantly seek out new beers and have a handful of go-to brands (which it will take a lot of work to wear off the woolies long association).
big worry for me - WW won't have as many compelling reasons to support the wide range of GR (GR have one of the best brand rangings of smaller brewers in the 1500 WW outlets), and the possible loss of significant volumes won't be recovered quickly through other channels (Coles, Independents, Export).
Will be interesting to see if Broo (asx BEE) get their IPO (very interesting numbers) up next month to have 2 aus listed beer co's....
be great to have a healthy local beer industry with the foreign-owned brewers taking 90% share currently....is GRB the one's to lead the fight with Coopers et al?

Broo Beer BEE looks as though they have plenty of work to do.GRB needs to stop feeding at the trough.I like the model but they have already given institutions shares at 2.5c so may trade back to that.
