Note DyO @ 1155 RMB/kg today is just holding above the long term < 1000 level on the chart, though it did trade as low as $90kg in 2009, about half today's values.

Comment from a Chinese contributor on another forum yesterday:

"The pricing of Chinese rare earth oxides is entriely artificial. Look at the output numbers:
- Dysprosium output is twice the quantity of world consumption
- Europium dito
- Terbium dito
And that has been going on for a long time. You can't even begin to imagine the stockpiles."
