Today could be interesting for us and could see another rise in the SP.
It’s the elections in Malaysia today.
And if the ruling UMNO loses (as some pundits say they will) then it could be a very difficult time for Lynas.
I can remember some 5 years ago or more when LYC were struggling against the opposition to gain permission to put up their LRE refining plant. Some of the more militant members vowed that when (not if) they get into power they would revoke the LYC licenses and close down the plant.
This would not happen overnight but would eventually leave lyc with nowhere to go!!!
Enter NTU, with our remote pre-processing plant now well established. What more common sense would it make to combine the two operations with NTU taking over the work from LYC. I guess the lefty greenies would make a lot of noise but they do that for any project that does not involve breeding horses!!!
