Magnequench/Daido/Honda developed HRE Free bonded NdFeB that operates to 180C which has now been released in a second, twin PMM, hybrid after the success of the first.
Not difficult to understand which way OEM's would go IF there were any significant appreciation in DyO values. The alternates are way out of the lab, in commercial application, any real price increases Dy/HRE is only going to result in further demand destruction.
