Fair enough but they are not aggressive to us... as an Australian venomous snake never has and never will kill a human to eat, but yes they can be defensive and do have deadly poison if untreated so kids to need to be educated and respect them for sure.
on a side note its much more dangerous to put your daughter in a car and drive anywhere, or just let your child near other human beings then it is to walk withing 3 meters of a snake
in 2017 for example we had:
1225 traffic related deaths.
450+ deaths from murder and man slaughter and many more attempted murders
over 25,000 sexual assaults.
over 600,000 general assaults
None of this counts for all the unreported stuff and drowning, suicides and other deaths out there of course.
however in the last 17 years we only had 34 snake bite deaths, it doesn't even come close to one year of human carnage
