Not every project will be successful and there are alot of scam projects out there and yes, just like there are some fiat based ponzi schemes that exist there are a couple of crypto ponzi schemes (bitconnect, davor etc) - but the point you all miss is that not all of them are baseless and rubbish. Some actually stand a chance to change the way life integrates with technology.Mass adoption is the only time, you luddites will see that you are wrong.
A world of idiots allowed fractional reserve banking to exist and a baseless FIAT system - mass adoption is all that gives this system value, as it does any social system... Crypto in essence will be no different in time - this is really just the birth of a new era....met with adverse objection, like with any change.
Crypto can be a means of exchange just like anything else... All it takes is someone to say, "deal" and you have a chocolate in exchange for 50ECC coin - he might deal with 2 other people in ECC coin for some good or service and they each deal in ECC with 2 or more in their networks, so on and so on ... all it takes is people...and if you have a network of people who take a certain currency in exchange for goods and services, you have a trading system. Doesn't take much really (well it does kind of, but you dont need the entire population to start with) literally 1000s of people are being paid in crypto for services in the crypto space, already everyday...At the end of the day, a job is worth what the parties agree it is worth in whatever currency the parties agree on - how is this different to FIAT - If it is tradeable, IE can be issued by and accepted by humans in exchange for goods or services it makes tangible, doesn't have to be government issued legal tender.
Anyway, enough of this banter, you are just the likes of the muppets claiming btc has been dead every one of the 250 corrections it has had over the last decade - at 20, 30 50, 100, 300, 500, 700, 1000, 1200 1500.........5000, 10000 etc etc.. Must be a tiresome crusade of being wrong among you lot...
