That is the big problem. Most people want to treat wind and solar as if they are coal.
Wind can be down to zero for periods. At that rate you need an infinite generation capacity and it still won't
turn on the lights.
The average for wind seems to be about 22%. The add to that the cost of something else also needed when wind is
close to zero.
