So you have absolutely no idea how much your nuclear plan will cost in Australia at all ?
You're basing it on the French system ? You seem to be ignoring the fact that you need to build a whole industry first. The French established theirs 70 years ago ! They also rely on generating more than twice the amount than Australia of which they export for profit.
We could use the Hinkley Point B example in the UK. I think that would be a more accurate comparison for Australia.
The British have been into nuclear power for quite a period as well although they are getting out of it now. The current project is way behind schedule, way over budget and the power price is subsidised for the next 25 years.

It's no coincidence that you use a pro nuclear source for your information. You left the bit out about the French actually reducing their reliance of nuclear going forward though ? You've also forgot to mention that we can't produce coal fired power as cheap in Australia even though we've been doing that for nearly a century. How can you possibly expect us to do a better job with nuclear ?
