Just re-reading the Australian article:
“The trial, due to begin this year, will inject 12 patients with two doses of the drugs to test their safety and tolerability, with results due early in 2019“
Couple of things struck me.
1. Gee that seems like a quick start, guessing there’s been some leg work done in the previous months here.
2. “Early 19” for results, I.e Q2, could just be me but again that seems like a very quick turnaround in the Biotech phase 1 world. With my rose glasses on, it feels like they have a very clear scope and measurable outcome.
The market is right not to go boonta quite yet, but this is so close to a mainstream tick for the little Aussie bio mixing it with the big end of town.
