On analogies I could also say that while igloos can be cold inside they are much warmer inside than outside. Maybe that's enough of the analogies from me.
Everything does indeed go up and down with the market in the short term. 10 years ago it was possible to find debtless companies with market caps far less than the value of their cash holdings. At the end of the day cash is cash and revenue is revenue.
All companies seek to save money during uncertain economic times and they will put call recording on a cloud to save money.
