The application was submitted in February last year by a consortium of 17 organizations including leading universities, research institutes and technology development organizations, specialized SMEs and three European lithium mining companies (ECM is one of them).
It is aimed at developing proprietary innovative technologies that will make European lithium production even more competitive and self-supporting..The competition was very high and the success rate is less than 10%. Now the second and final evaluation stage will take place in the third quarter of the year.
The H2020 application is part of European Lithium Ltd.'s ongoing effort to develop and utilize state-of-the-art and innovative technologies, and to establish a leading technological position among global producers of Li minerals and chemicals.
