The action group members are just ordinary shareholders across the PPN spectrum from the top 20 to the bottom 20.  As members don't have 666 on their foreheads to identify themselves, Trimble has no idea how many members there are, who they are or how many shares they own.  

When G Spot sent out its illegal offer letters to smaller shareholders, about 900 I am told, they had no idea that some of these went to action group members who complained to ASIC the same day to find that the corporate watchdog had already acted on its own.  

Trimble himself is quite a likeable person and shakes my hand every time we meet despite our heated conversation at an AGM in 2013 when he invited me out the back to continue our discussion in the lane behind Bar20.  He even bought me a beer once, served in a glass, not the 'chalice from the palace', the  'flagon with the dragon' or the 'vessel with the pestle'.   I haven't met his son Michael yet.  

The problem for both John and Michael is that Corporate Governance is not a new fad diet and the Corporations Act 2001 is not a vintage theme dance performed by the girls in the basement 'boardroom' at the Showgirls Bar20 strip club.
