I have yet to see what i would class as a great result from share buy backs. IMO they are a means of reducing the numbers on the share registry at the expense of the shareholders and seldom increase the sp. They would be better off maintaining the divvy instead of buying back and ceasing acquisitions and riding out the down cycle. Lets face it the population will only grow and none of us can bear to be without a motorcar. The problem is self healing unless there is gross mis management
