What really gets me - and thinking primarily about Australia - just how many people are employed by the Reserve Bank and what sort of money are they paid. Couldn't just one of those people be watching what rates were doing or even have been drawing a simple little chart each day that updated the bill rate and the bond rate. Black and White - definitely with capitals.
