If you look at that table- historically commodity prices can rally during periods when US stocks and the US dollar fall.
I've only seen one crash and my mindset is that everything crashes when US stocks do.
I was observing data after asking myself how can US stock indices be about to go into a bear when there is very obvious signs of life in our miners/ base metal charts. Even looking at opinions on this thread we have US bears and commodity bulls. Charts posted agree.
Perhaps correlations are never perfect and like most things in markets they work better in retrospect with large data sets.
