It’s a boom era for solar. Using Nearmap’s historical archive of imagery, combined with data from the Clean Energy Regulator, we identified the postcodes in Australia that have shown the highest rates of solar energy adoption in the past 18 years.

INVESTOR INSIGHTS: AUSBIL ON NEARMAP
Investor Mason Willoughby-Thomas, portfolio manager at Ausbil MicroCap Fund, recently weighed in on how Nearmap’s disruptive camera technology and subscription model lay the groundwork for a strong investment.
Nearmap has “opened up to a broader market than what [aerial imagery] has been traditionally. . . . now, with a subscription product covering a large part of the Australian population, smaller SMEs can access [Nearmap] to add productivity to their businesses,” says Willoughby-Thomas.
