just from a different viewpoint which market is bigger. currency or commodities charts over last 5 years fall into 2 groups. group A led by spx straight channel up. been pretty easy since spx 1050 held. doubled and strangled commods. banks and blue chips the winners here with low interest, stability and property price recovery trend is up on oil since jan. same with gold. silver took awhile. market is pricing in change already. longer term i think oil has had its day with clean energy taking over but will take some time to play out.

Cha, you're insights are brilliant, please keep them coming. I just wish we were on the same side of the fence on the commodities topic. You are one of the very few people (a few others on this thread in particular also) that can present an argument that makes me makes me genuinely question my position. Thank you Cha, it really sharpens the focus.
