I've sought of worked out that IB is the best rates and product. But twice I've gone to set it up and just got stumped with their forms and whatever and gave up.

I'm thinking of OptionXpress just for their service to get started and then see how much US trading I do. I have a bit of an edge in trading ASX as I know the stocks so well and easily researched if I don't, so will have to see.

OptionsX fees looked prohibitive when I looked at spreads but if I just do simple one leg long calls or puts they may be more viable. At least it'll get me started in the US.

I know I should be trading there.
