Fwiiw I also favour a long grind down with periods of joy as the policy makers try to justify what they've done.

We've had everyone making money for 7 years in the face of the world basically being cactus , this is not normal . Now comes the period where most people suffer ,especially those punting on it coming back.

But personally I would be overjoyed at a slow grind down because in that environment the better stocks and opportunities stand out like a beacon.
