Well I know what the average length is but the 70's and early eighties were fairly tough on an overall basis for extended periods even though the market declines didn't fit the statistical definitions.
You'd have to wonder how long these artificial interventions will have a significant impact for if the 2009 one is seen to have not worked sustainably . Something a lot of people are wondering about now . Perhaps a bigger bust is in the offing
