Orwell, thank you but honestly it's pretty straight forward if you're already trading derivatives which I know you are.

Easy to setup an account and I just love the US markets. You can trade absolutely everything under the sun, and their economy is not beholden to 2-3 sectors like we are here. Despite the concerns I raised above, they're the most liquid markets in the world (particularly for derivatives).

My concerns re: liquidity were more on a macro level. When the market makers are restricted, and the US has such a big impact on all global markets, these new rules have the ability to impact everywhere.

For someone with your experience and charting abilities, and the fact you don't day trade (meaning no night shift) I couldn't recommend it enough.
