    Ok Hera, well I'm just shootin' the breeze on a quiet Sunday afternoon with a bit of philosophical, intellectual discussion. Good chat, but I've had my dose now.

    I'll only add that hedging of a retail portfolio can be difficult with the limitations of derivative products in the Australian market and retail investor product knowledge and skills. DMP for example you can't get options over to sell covered calls or buy puts. Most retailers also wouldn't necessarily have a diversified enough portfolio or skills to use futures markets hedging, that's for professional fund portfolios or maybe high net worth portfolios.

    We 're investing/trading in completely different ways. Let's see how we go anyway with markets likely to come off for this next phase.
