That last line is the killer for Elispot. Even if the impracticalities of its application and its cost weren't enough.
I've been watching this develop for the last two years and there is a certain relentlessness about the rollout and uptake of CST's product that has me won over.
The time it takes for new products to be developed and then to acquire those critical FDA approvals shouldn't be understated either. Even if the competing product was even close to being as good.
CST isn't going to have a serious competitor until someone develops the proverbial 'better mousetrap' and does it without breeching their patent protections.
