Who will be next? Mayne will be cashed up after the sale of Mayne Pharma. They (as Symbion) wont want to see API and Sigma merge and Sigma definitely wont want Symbion to get API - so thats a start. Then the new DHL-Alphapharm alliance would jump at the chance to aquire market share and some of the assets (and sell off some as well). DHL are growing their Pharmaceutical logistics business - they are good at what they do. A takeover would be a drop in the ocean to DHL & Alphapharm parent (Merck KGaA). Woolies & Coles Myer can't be discounted either as a backdoor entry into Pharmacy.
Interesting times over the next few weeks I think. $2.20 is only a start.
