One of the reasons this has been such an interesting week of posting on this thread is that you and I have had such a good battle. You have a strong alternate view to mine on this stock and we are both clearly passionate about our investing. It has been my life. I bought my first stock when I was around 14 and I am now 60 and I love what I do. I can see the same in you.
It does no good when everybody just agrees with each other and pats each other on the back. I have had a lifetime interest in tennis too and the quality of a person's game is very much dependent on the quality of their opponent. You seldom get a Henin without a Clijsters chasing her all the way. They started battling each other in Belgium at around 8 and they continue the war at 28. It seems to be no different here. You made me work so much harder and I put in a lot more hours than I normally would have because you stirred me up to come up with an alternate view.
I have started posting on that other stock I mentioned. It is a quiet thread and it may take me several months to present my story but if you visit it over coming weeks you will find that I don't always have nice things to say about companies and Boards. I am comfortable in the devil advocate's role too. I wish I had a Bacci over there on the other side of the court to stir things up.
If we can come out of this thread with a better understanding of the stock and where it is heading whether that be into adminstration or to profit for all, then we will have done a great job. And I suspect the best way to do that is to battle it out all the way querying each other's logic and view points.
Anyhow enough of the niceties; as Paul Keating said "I am going to do you slowly, you scumbag" :)
