Phosphate prices are nothing to write home about but the declining dollar, along with forecast easing in diesel and gas prices, have encouraged Rum Jungle Resources (RUM) to update the feasibility of its Ammaroo phosphate project in the Northern Territory.
Now it seems the company believes it may be able to supply Australian, Indian and Asian customers as one of the lower-cost producers. The plan is to produce phosphoric acid and convert that acid to ammonium phosphate fertilisers.
