Just look at the coal industry mergers and anticipation of demand supply constraints and price rises in thermal and coking coal around the world.

Now the Chinese (who never imported the stuff) is fighting over it with the Japanese and Koreans as world recovery gathers momentum.

All the while China is frantically digging more coal and more miners die in preventable accidents.

The high profile casualties have already awaken the communist party to act before it becomes a social instability problem in certain parts of the country.

IDL safety gears have to be on top of the shopping list.
