They also have a forum which is a great place to pick up stockpicks, techniques and general market info. Some really good info there.

The website also has a complete online Technical Trading book with endless links to other Technical Trading sites.

I've paid for the full version and have never regretted it.

Another free piece of software which makes life and trading easier is QuoteTracker which also is free.

The Guppy books are good and I would recommend them highly but you have to read Stan Weinstein's "Secrets of Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets." That is the one that makes all the difference.

I can't claim your percentage success but I only started trading in mid September of last year and pretty much did nothing for the Xmas New Year period.

I'm well up (about 22%) for that period but most of that profit has been made this month as things have started to click into place.

I expect to raise that percentage a lot before the year is out.
