i've had a look at a few of Caitlin's previous articles. she's a cheerleader for the anti-boomer brigade.

her articles are usually banging on about all the evils that baby boomers have deliberately inflicted on her generation. her thematic is that she has not been able to afford to buy a house because of baby boomers. she is seriously bitter and twisted about this and does her best to whip that anger up in other readers. in one of her articles, she explained that she's been working for 15 years.

think about that for a moment. she's described as a "senior economics editor" so you could safely presume that she's earning a reasonable income and would be expected to be financially literate. after 15 years of working, she hasn't managed to come up with a deposit for a house. and it's our fault.
