Niu, flooding thousands of hectare of kiwi habitat is a bit different to mining 106 hectares of a previously mined plateau don't you think?
I was against the dam from the word go, I have hunted a lot in the areas that would be turned into a lake and think that F&B have done Nz a great service in fighting the proposed dam.

F&B have made their point, they will not win (if they do stop the mine going ahead it will be a dark dark day for Nz)

Next court date is soon too. Lets hope the decision is accepted by F&B and we can get this show on the road.
I wonder how far away the climate change decision is too?
