“One of Australia’s leading mining services and construction suppliers has labelled the gold sector a crucial industry to capitalise on the State’s growing infrastructure development opportunities.
NRW Holdings chief executive Jules Pemberton outlined the company’s plans to increase its work within the gold market in an effort to diversify from a Pilbara-centric operator.
Mr Pemberton told the Diggers and Dealers mining forum yesterday that NRW, which holds 40 contracts across Australia, had identified WA’s resurging gold market could provide a vital contract prospects.”
He said the Gascoyne contract was highly regarded by NRW
“(It) is important for us because it takes us back into the gold space, it was a key area for us to get back into.
“It has been dominated by a couple of our peers over the past few years, but it has been pretty important for us to make sure we keep that connection in the gold space for commodity diversity.”
.... so I thought I’d investigate that Minerals map for pending projects greater than $20 million as of December 2016
I stopped because the sun came out and I couldn’t find NTM resources’ Redcliffe Project .
I have some shares in NTM and although it’s supposed to have an ‘exciting’ upcoming well-managed project, given my luck with gold companies, I am not surprised it does not seem to be on the map.
For what it is worth here is the list:
