The Joint Venture between civil construction company NRW and NYFL was developed to provide sustainable business opportunities to the Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi people through civil and mining projects in their homeland.

NRW’s civil and mining experience, combined with NYFL’s links to the Aboriginal communities, allows for a unique approach to ensuring improved Aboriginal training, education and employment in the traditional lands.

NYFL’s direct contribution is comprised of trainees, experienced operators and Aboriginal mentors as well as responsibility for the provision of Cultural Awareness training on joint projects. NYFL also manages the engagement of local Aboriginal subcontractors. NRW provides management expertise, established internal and commercial processes, equipment, workshop facilities, and experienced project management.”

More recently this group was involved with RIO in regards archaeological surveys of the Koodaideri Rail project.
